The Del Norte Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) invites interested persons to apply for the position of the public member on the Commission. LAFCo is an independent regulatory agency charged with encouraging the formation and development of local governmental agencies, preserving agricultural resources, discouraging urban sprawl, and assuring efficient local government services.
